A media personality, Writer, and award-winning actress, Lydia Forson, has revealed that she was just stopped by the Ghana Police Service and searched for arms and ammunition, but they didn’t search her driver or the car.
Lydia Forson made this revelation in a post she tweeted on Twitter some few hours ago.
“So, I was just stopped by Ghana Police Service and asked to get out of the car to be searched for arms and ammunition. I didn’t mind if this was standard procedure. But they searched me, the other lady in the car, our bags, but not the driver of the car. What is this please?” She posted
According to her, people should note that she is not upset, and the police didn’t mishandle her. She was just confused because she has never experienced that before.
She added that she is okay with how the Ghana Police Service are doing their job if it’s legal, but she is just trying to understand the point of searching only her and the friend without searching the car and the driver.
