In his book ‘Working with Rawlings’ which was authored by Prof Kwamena Ahwoi, one of NDC’s own faithful son, he clearly narrated the pains the former Deputy Regional Minister went through after Mr. Rawlings nearly crushed his balls.
The leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bede Ziedeng, has indeed confirmed that the founder of his party squeezed his balls until he fainted.
The book didn’t only reveal the trauma Mr. Bede went through but also the hell some members of the NDC party had went through in the hands of the party’s founder for disagreeing with him on when they were selecting leaders to lead the party or sensitive issues concerning the progress of the party.
The book also gave vivid account on how Chairman Rawlings squeezed the testicles of Bede Ziedeng till he fainted at a congress which where Obed Asamoah was elected as the Party’s Chairman.
The NDC has been divided after the launch of the book with some calling on the leaders of the NDC to call Prof-Ahwoi to order, as they claim his book could inadvertently lead to the collapse of the party and a loss in the upcoming December polls.
Others are also of the view that Prof Ahwoi’s book portrays the exact character of Rawlings back in those days and good for reference to the evil acts he committed against some targeted individuals within the NDC party for not siding with their founder on various issues.
Wadding into the misunderstanding the book has brought, Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Junior, confirmed the incident on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show.
“As for the Bede Ziedeng balls’ incident, its an old story and we even joked with it but some people said it was a lie, now I’m happy it has been confirmed,” he stated.
“Bede was always quite so people said it was not true but this book has confirmed it.”
