Popular Ghanaian actress cum presenter, Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown who was known to have waited for twenty years before having a child of her own has said that she decided to adopt a child if she did not give birth by age 45.
In an interview on TV3’s Showbiz 360 with Giovani Caleb, the beautiful screen goddess revealed that she has achieved so many things in her life but the one thing she was eager to have was a child of her own.
She disclosed that she and her husband, Maxwell tried so many hospitals but all efforts proved futile until the Good Lord blessed her with a baby girl.
” I told my husband Maxwell that if I was still childless by the time I reached 45, we would adopt a child. Waiting for 20 years for the fruit of the womb is not a joke. When I see my colleagues carrying their kids, I always feel this loneliness and sadness but I was always encouraged to be hopeful.” Nana Ama disclosed.
Speaking on her career as an actress, Nana Ama said that she had always looked up to the likes of Grace Nortey and Grace Omaboe as her mentors and always studied their lives on and off set.
