FrimpongHayford is currently unattached after quitting the Somalia national team job despite guiding them to their first ever World Cup qualifier victory though they lost the second leg to Zimbabwe.
The former Black Queens gaffer is reportedly among the those vying for the GFA Technical Director job.
“I’m praying to God the Ghana Football Association will give me a chance to serve as a technical director,” Hayford told West FM.
“If I get the job, I will be able to meet all the coaches in Ghana as well as the national teams and also our clubs on how to turn things around to develop our football in the country.”
The GFA Technical Director role has been vacant when Oti Akenteng left the office last month after serving for fourteen years.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association is yet to announce their preferred choice for the role.
