Former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Joseph Yamin, has disclosed that it will be an honor to be former President John Mahama’s running mate for the 2020 general elections.
He stated this in an interview with Gideon Okyere Anim(Gattuso) on All Sports on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7
‘’Let’s have time and wait for Mahama’s running mate but it will be an honor to be Mahama’s running mate, Ghanaians are finding it difficult to make ends meet due to the hard economic policies of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP),” he added
‘’If they call me and nominate me and I will pass the criteria, I definitely will accept it.”
He said his party is aware of the arduous task ahead but was positive that it was surmountable with hard work and a good campaign message.
Describing the government as a sinking ship, President Akufo-Addo’s main political rival said the opposition NDC also feels the suffering of ordinary Ghanaians.
The NDC is required to select a competitive person to become the running mate to John Dramani Mahama.
