FrimpongFormer Asante Kotoko trainer James Kwasi Appiah has retorted that he is not in anyway vying for a job at his former Club.
Reports in the local media, revealed that the ex-Black Stars player and immediate gone head coach of the Senior National team is set to be appointed Asante Kotoko SC Technical Director awaiting the fate of Football returning in Ghana
But the former Khartoum FC gaffer says, he has not contacted Asante Kotoko over a technical role neither has the club contacted him. Nevertheless, he (Kwasi Appiah) has no plans to take such role at the club.
“It’s not true and it’s not in my plans that I want Asante kotoko technical Director job” he told Akakpo Agodji of Ashh FM.
“Treat such news as false, am still at home taking rest and later decide when to return to the field”Though I have offers but not from Asante Kotoko SC”
The former defender after ending his contract with the Ghana Football Association(GFA) have decided to take a rest before taking a decision to return unto the pitch.
The Premier League powerhouse after failing to seal a deal with Charles Kwablan Akonnor for the technical Director position are still on the search for one who will support Coach Maxwell Konadu when the league bounce back to shape.
