JUST IN: Ghana’s coronavirus cases just shot up

Ghana’s coronavirus cases has increased to 1,550 after 271 new cases were confirmed positive.

This was indicated in Ghana Health Services’ Sunday afternoon update.

The sharp rise in Ghana’s case count has been  as a result of government’s enhanced contact tracing and testing measures.

However, the number of recovery cases have also gone up by 155 with one more death, bringing the total deaths to 11.
