Veteran Football Administrator, Kofi Manu popularly known as, ‘Blue Boy’, says contrary to the mandate of the Kurt Okraku to reform Ghana football, his leadership is rather ruining Ghana football due to the incompetence of its members.
Speaking on Sport show with “JAY JAY” “All Sports” the former GFA, executive member was very critical in his analysis of the current GFA administration.
He believes they are a failure comparing them to the previous administration in terms of finances and how they are managing Ghana football in this difficult times.
The controversial football administrator though accept the fact that, the Kurt led administration is barely 7months old,and believes there is a lot of work to do to improve Ghana football.
“How can an administration who told local clubs they are there to lift them up, today tell the club due to the fact that they(GFA) have inherited debt would not be able to save football clubs who are almost cash-trapped they own no part of an SOS relief given to member association by the world football covering body, FIFA, ”he assessed.
He believes a lot is left with the GFA adminstration to do to save clubs from liquidation.
Kurt Okraku assumed office as Ghana FA President on November 17, 2019, after emerging winner of the GFA Presidential elections with his closest rival George Afriyie conceding defeat at the end of the second round.
