Lady dumps her first class degree for work as a makeup artist

It is quite awkward how a lady will work her socks off to acquire a first-class degree and later decide to open a makeup shop instead. Nobody in their wildest imagination will attempt to do that especially looking at how competitive a first-class degree is.

Well, that is the story of a Twitter user with the handle (@DaizyStores). Daizy made this rather shocking revelation in a viral trend on Twitter, “The Face Vs The CGPA”, where users were revealing their intellectual accomplishments in terms of results at the college or university versus their facial looks on social media.

Daizy said, since she graduated in 2017, she has neither gone on job hunting nor has she written a CV for a job. However, she revealed the displeasure that greeted her from her family who was not in support of her decision to completely abandoned her good degree for an entrepreneurial adventure.

She wrote this on Twitter:

“The face Vs The CGPA..Babe graduated 2017, never have I made a CV nor job hunted. “That’s me in my makeup store that I began in 2018 with 35k. ..Everyone especially my family hate that I let my degree waste (kinda), well I put the intelligence in my business and it paid. “
