The collapse of UniBank, GN Bank, UT Bank among other local financial institutions by the central Bank on the grounds of insolvency and mismanagement recently activated a venomous attack from the Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International Bishop Charles Agyinasare against the ruling government.

Content of the Bishop’s sermon preached virtually last Sunday coiled vociferously and vehemently against the NPP led government as the International Evangelist heavily castigated the rank-and-file, stating that the same “demons” that possessed politicians in the days of old to collapse local business were still lingering and wreaking havoc.

Notwithstanding the foregoing ecclesiastical missile, Founder, leader and National Chairman for United Progressive Party (UPP) Mr. Akwasi Addi Odike says he is in support of the claim made by Bishop Charles Agyinasare.

He told  in an interview that the collapse of the Banks was sparked by envy on the part of the Akyim faction within the NPP and not the cleaning of the financial sector as they claimed.

He set the record straight that, the Akyim “mafia agenda” in question was planned six months after NPP assumed office.

Outspoken Odike disclosed that he has documents which highlight series of agenda which were drafted at a secret meeting to destroy some influential characters and financial institutions in the country.

“if it was true that they really wanted  to clean the banks as they claimed, the 9 billion cedis which was quoted by the President would have solved the issue but the President went ahead to destroy these financial institutions and spent 23 billion, living 400,000 workers jobless. This was an orchestrated attempt to destroy Papa Kwasi Nduom (CEO GN Bank), Dr. Kwabena Duffor (CEO UniBank) and Kofi Amoabeng (UT Bank)”, he revealed.
