The man involved is a 46-year-old man identified as Alex Quainoo who is a farmer and a hunter at Assin Bepokokoo.
This man allegedly shot his wife whose name was given as Victoria Asiedu and this came after the woman’s refusal to give him GHC 2 to buy alcohol.
The report was made by AdomOnline and speaking to the reporter, the woman who is now recovering stated that her husband had earlier requested a torchlight to go on snail hunting.
She further indicated that her husband came home around 8:00 pm on Easter Saturday and demanded the money but she could not give it to him and he
She explained the suspect, who is currently on the run, returned and threatened to kill her. He did not succeed in killing her, however, shot her in her two palms after missing the targeted neck.
The woman is currently at the hospital with the man currently on the run. The police has mounted a manhunt for him.
