Diella TekuIn a strategic move aimed at bolstering grassroots efforts ahead of the 2024 general elections, Honorable Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Techiman South, has called on party executives in Bono East to intensify their voter outreach. During a ceremony where he handed over 50 motorbikes and support funds to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) regional executives, Korsah emphasized the importance of the upcoming polls, framing it as a decisive contest between the past and the future.
Korsah’s message was clear: 2024 is not just another election—it’s a turning point for Ghana’s development. He urged party leaders and members to become active ambassadors of the NPP, highlighting the party’s track record in governance and development. According to him, the NPP has consistently proven its capacity to manage the country’s affairs better than its political rivals, and now is the time to ensure that message reaches every household.
“We must work tirelessly to give Ghanaians a better future,” Korsah emphasized. “Let’s not allow the opposition’s propaganda to cloud the truth. We need to make sure every voter understands the tangible benefits of the NPP’s policies—house-to-house, community-to-community.”
The MP encouraged the executives to go beyond traditional campaigning and embrace personal, face-to-face conversations with voters. He said this as an opportunity to remind constituents of the many developmental projects and policies the NPP has delivered, urging party members to be bold in communicating the government’s successes.
“We need to retain power not just for ourselves but to continue the work of transforming our communities,” Korsah added. “The opposition can talk, but we have a track record of delivery, and that’s what matters.”
Regional Chairman Bukari Baba, accompanied by Secretary David Boakye and other parliamentary candidates, expressed gratitude for the resources provided by the MP, assuring him that they would be used effectively to mobilize support across all 11 constituencies in Bono East. They pledged to translate the support into votes, reinforcing the party’s efforts to secure another term in office.
Korsah’s call to action underscores the high stakes of the 2024 elections, with the NPP focused on solidifying its grassroots machinery as a key part of its strategy to maintain power.
