FrimpongMr Kuuku Bartels President of Nkoranza Warriors has explain why he failed to appear before the Committee set up by Hearts Of Oak Board in a petition sent by the National Chapters Committee (NCC) to investigate a bribery allegation against Board Member Alhaji Akambi.

Commenting on the bribery allegation,Mr Bartels reiterated he never gave Alhaji any bribe as it’s been speculated.
Mr Bartels in answering questions on a recording of him and Maxwell Asabre which purported to be an admission of him giving Alhaji 200cedis, Mr Bartels denied by saying the recording is not a true reflection of what transpired in the conversation between them and at the appropriate time, he will come out with his own version of their conversation.
He also stated that, Maxwell Asabre has bitten more than what he can chew and he will deal with him in no time.
The whole allegation was about a player of Nkoranza Warriors Emmanuel Sarkodie who Hearts Of Oak expressed interest. During the negotiation, it was alleged Mr Bartels after taking 500 cedis as a transportation fare from Hearts Management gave a bribe of 200 cedis to Alhaji Akambi to facilitate the deal.
Meanwhile, the said player Emmanuel Sarkodie did not sign for the Accra based club but rather signed for their arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
