This crowns the brilliant girl’s academic journey (so far) with a flawless victory as she finished with a GPA of 4.0 Prior to this, Florentina achieved amazing grades in junior high school, senior high school, and during her first degree at KNUST .
This brilliant Ghanaian lady is to begin her professional journey as an Actuarial Senior Analyst at a top US company .
Florentina revealed that she graduated in May from Illinois State University (MS Applied Statistics) in the United States with a whopping 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA). It turns out this kind of academic success has actually been normal for the amazing 26-year-old brain since childhood.

Florentina completed junior high school (JHS) with a clean record of 10-ones and then proceeded to study General Science at Wesley Girls’ Senior High School (SHS) and finished with 6As. After that, she bagged first class in Actuarial Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a 82.82 CWA prior to her Master’s degree at the US university.
Over the years, the intelligent girl enjoyed the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA)/Willis Towers Watson Scholarship and the Mensa Foundation’s Karen Cooper Scholarship.
She also won the Prudential Award for Excellence in Actuarial Science and the Department of Mathematics Best Performing Students’ Award in 2014/2015 at KNUST.
Speaking about the secret to her success, Florentina said her father used to teach her mathematics when she was young which made her fall in love with the subject right from childhood.
