FrimpongThe teen sensation won the top four prizes taking home Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the annual awards for the music industry.
The 18-year-old artist, who often collaborates with her older brother Finneas and self produces her songs, won four of the five awards she was nominated for.
Getting recognition on a stage like the Grammys is a big deal for every musician. Hence, winning the song of the year category is no mean achievement. Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” (written by Eilish and Finneas) won the Grammy for Song Of The Year.
The track was selected among many others of which some are Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way” (which was written by Gaga, Natalie Hemby, Hillary Lindsey, and Lori McKenna); Tanya Tucker’s “Bring My Flowers Now” (written by Tucker, Brandi Carlile, Phil Hanseroth, and Tim Hanseroth;
Billie also won Record of the Year and Best New Artist. She won Album of the Year for her debut full-length When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and she grabbed both Record and Song of the Year for her global smash “Bad Guy,” which made it to the top of singles charts almost everywhere, including in the U.S.
