Liverpool superstar, Mohamed Salah has been named this year’s PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year award after a stellar season with the Reds.
Salah marked his 2021/22 campaign with a third Premier League Golden Boot, having tied with Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son on 23 goals before collecting this prestigious fan-voted award.
The Egyptian also won the playmaker award with 13 assists holding off teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold who finished on 12.
This is the third time the 29-year-old has won the award after beating other nominees Alexander-Arnold, Kevin De Bruyne, Conor Gallagher, Phil Foden, and Declan Rice.
It was the fourth successive season he has amassed more than 20 goals across all competitions as he moved into 12th-place in Liverpool’s all-time goalscorers list with 125.
Salah has also picked up the FWA footballer of the year award and the Premier League goal of the season award in what has been another fantastic campaign for Liverpool’s Egyptian King.
