Trainees of the Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) have expressed displeasure over the delay in their salary for the month of September.
According to the trainees, without the September stipends, life have become extremely difficult and unbearable for them.
They disclosed this to the press in an interview today.
“We are in total dilemma, we can’t even get money to cater for our families, transportation to work has also become a major canker , how do the leaders expect us to survive”.
Furthermore the trainees added that: some of them have children to feed and the most painful aspect of it is, they are unable to acquire loan, therefore, if they don’t go to work, their supervisors will be harsh on them and at times frown at them coupled with other issues at the work place makes it difficult for them to work.
On the other hand, the trainees narrated how their are unable to receive help from family and relatives who knows about their status as workers.
“We can’t call on our parents, relatives and friends for financial help because they know you are working and this has even worsen our case, and in actual fact, we are humbly appealing to the president to act on our behalf in order to ensure they NABCO authorities regularise the payment of our stipends”.
NABCO on the 17th of this month will celebrate its second year anniversary and therefore the trainees are very much expectant of their monthly wages ahead of the celebrations.
