Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari, known for her role in Beyoncé: The President’s Daughter, recently gave viewers a glimpse into the intricacies of on-screen romance in an interview with TV3 monitored by adwoaadubianews.com. Addressing the often-discussed topic of kissing scenes, Nadia explained that such moments are purely staged to serve the storyline, with no real emotions involved. She emphasized that these scenes are crafted solely to appear authentic to the audience, stressing that actors keep personal emotions entirely separate.

“Kissing scenes are all about make-believe,” Nadia clarified. “Even though we’re actually kissing on camera, it’s all for the characters, not for us as actors. There’s a clear emotional divide, especially with a full crew watching us. It’s all part of creating an illusion.”

Returning to acting after a hiatus, Nadia shared that portraying intimate scenes and building character depth remain some of the most challenging aspects of her career. Her return to the silver screen comes with the upcoming romantic drama Forever in a Night, produced by John N. Okwugo and directed by Jameel Buari.

The film, set to premiere on November 9, 2024, will debut simultaneously at Accra Mall and West Hills Mall, marking Nadia’s anticipated comeback to Ghanaian cinema.
