Ghanaian former President John Dramani Mahama claims that Ghana’s biggest education policy, Free SHS was first started by his Party ,The National Democratic Congress.
The policy was introduced in September 2017 wen the current ruling party New Patriotic Party, Npp. The Policy was one of the few promises promised by President Nana Akufo Addo which has been fulfilled
Free Shs has been going on for the past 3 years now and has benefited a lot of People especially those who weren’t able to go to SHS due to money. According to John Mahama, the NDC will make sure to ensure proper implementation of the free shs policy when elected into power.
While touring the volta Region, The Former President reveled to the gathering and chiefs around that the NDC party started the free SHS program me before it left office.
