The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has alleged that the campaign team of former President John Mahama move with a vehicle purposely made to jam frequencies.

In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated that the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) together with his brother, Ibrahim Mahama, had procured the services of the vehicle to ensure they jam networks that would used to collate results.

“John Mahama and his brother, Ibrahim Mahama have gone to purchase a vehicle purposely made to jam frequencies. But whoever has been made to control the vehicle should know that we are watching him and would not allow him to work peacefully“, Chairman Wontumi said.

He however warned that the leadership of the NPP is closely monitoring the activities of the NDC and would not allow them to rig the elections in Ashanti Region. He called on other regional executives of the NPP to be vigilant and prevent the NDC from controlling electoral results on election day.
