FrimpongPresident Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been heavily tipped by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah, to retain his seat as President after the 7th December polls.
The Minister in a one on one interview on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com stated that it is likely the incumbent would stretch the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) by 1.5 million votes in the Presidential elections.
He described the impending elections as the easiest contest to ensue between President Akufo-Addo and the flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama.
“This should be easiest election for President Nana Akufo-Addo…Nana would beat Mahama by not less than 1.5 million votes” adding that achieving such a feat, “would make me extremely happy.”
