The National President of the Sports Callers Association of Ghana, Joseph Nkoo has advised the Ghana Football Association to produce the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT ) and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA ) Tax Identification ( TIN NUMBERS ) and furnish it to the Government to help speed up their request for Government’s Support
Government asked the Small Scale , Medium and large scale entrepreneurs to produce their TIN numbers before their loans are granted
I believe if the FA do same especially with the inclusion of their SSNIT Numbers which goes to confirm that they actually have the future of their workers at heart, it might help speed up the process.
“I personally know that Mr Kurt Okraku has registered all his players at Dreams FC on to the SSNIT PENSION SCHEME , but has he been able to make sure the rest of the Clubs do same for their players as the FA President “?
The GFA, through their artwork claimed the Ghana league or Ghana football employs a total of 70,672 players.
The GFA gave the breakdown as follows:
1. Premier League: 1019
2. Division One League: 2,353
3. 2nd & 3rd Division: 43,700
4. Women’s Premier: 600
5. Juvenile League: 23,000
