Diella TekuProphet Nigel Gaisie, founder of the Prophetic Hill Church, revealed his determined stance against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the lead-up to Ghana’s December 7 election. Gaisie openly declared his intention to pray for the defeat of the ruling party, voicing dissatisfaction with what he sees as the NPP’s adverse impact on Ghanaians and the church.
During his appearance on Daybreak Hitz, Gaisie shared his conviction that the NPP government deserves to lose its hold on power. “I’m praying against the NPP government to lose. Yes, I am praying. I have their flag. Every day, I am dealing with it,” he stated emphatically, citing grievances over the party’s alleged harm to both the church and the nation. “They have hurt the church, they have hurt the nation, and they have to go. Ghanaians must punish them,” he added, urging the public to vote them out.
Expressing strong support for National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate John Dramani Mahama, Gaisie voiced optimism about the former president’s chances of winning, portraying him as a leader capable of restoring what he believes the NPP has damaged. “I believe John Mahama is the one who can heal this nation,” he affirmed.
However, Gaisie also addressed the fallibility of his prophecies, acknowledging that, as a human, he cannot always guarantee their accuracy. This admission comes in light of past predictions that faced scrutiny, yet Gaisie maintains faith in his spiritual influence over the upcoming election.
