Paris Saint-Germain football club of France is reportedly prepared to sell star player, Neymar this summer as part of a rebuild by taking a huge loss on the player they paid a world record fee for.

The Brazilian arrived at the Parc des Princes to huge fanfare in 2017 when PSG paid his Barcelona release clause of £198million to bring him to France in a world record move.

Neymar has scored 98 times in 141 games, but has failed to help PSG win the champions league since his signing.

Paris Saint-Germain have already won the Ligue 1 title following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Lens.

According to Sky sports and Spanish outlet AS, a ‘revolution’ is being planned at the club and Neymar could be sold for as little as £76million (€90m) .

If the report is true it means the French club are willing to take a loss of up to £122m for the Brazil international, although the £76m quote is thought to be the minimum price club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will negotiate at.

As part of the revolution, French daily L’Equipe are also reporting Julian Draxler, Layvin Kurzawa, Leandro Paredes and Thilo Kehrer could also be shown the exit.

In addition, the report says PSG could also be under new management, with current boss Mauricio Pochettino set to pay the price for the club’s failure in Europe by departing in the summer.
