Diella TekuWith the 2024 elections just around the corner, Konlaabig Rasheed, a former Bono Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has once again demonstrated his unwavering support for the party’s grassroots mobilization efforts. On a mission to secure an NPP victory in the December 7 elections, Rasheed has donated 13 motorbikes to all 12 constituencies within the Bono Region.
The motorbikes, distributed through the party’s constituency chairpersons, are intended to enhance the party’s ground operations and outreach efforts. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Rasheed underscored his steadfast commitment to the NPP’s “Bold Solutions Agenda” and its vision for national development.
“This donation is my personal contribution to equipping our grassroots to ensure that our agenda of securing more parliamentary seats and solidifying our dominance in the Bono Region becomes a reality. Beyond that, it is my hope to see Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia elected, as he holds the key to implementing transformative policies for Ghana,” Rasheed remarked.
He further urged party members to prioritize unity and teamwork, emphasizing that internal cohesion is essential for the party’s success. “Let us bury our differences and focus on the bigger picture—delivering victory for the NPP and Ghana’s progress,” he appealed.
Receiving the motorbikes, the Constituency Chairman for Dormaa West, Kwame Owusu, expressed gratitude on behalf of the regional chairpersons. He commended Rasheed for his consistent support and assured him of the motorbikes’ strategic use to maximize campaign efforts.
“Rasheed has been a reliable pillar of support for the Bono Region. His efforts since 2016 have greatly bolstered our capacity to deliver results. These motorbikes will be instrumental in reaching every corner of our constituencies as we work tirelessly to secure victory for H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and our parliamentary candidates,” Owusu stated.
He called on other party members in privileged positions to follow Rasheed’s example, emphasizing that such contributions strengthen the party’s chances of retaining power.
Konlaabig Rasheed’s history of supporting the NPP’s grassroots initiatives is well-documented. His latest donation reflects his long-standing belief in empowering the party’s base to drive electoral success. With the elections just two weeks away, his efforts have energized the Bono Region’s campaign machinery, creating optimism for a strong showing at the polls.
As the clock ticks closer to December 7, the NPP in the Bono Region appears poised and ready, propelled by leaders like Rasheed who are committed to the party’s victory and Ghana’s brighter future.
