Ghana FA President Kurt E.S. Okraku says running Ghana Football has proven more challenging and equally difficult than he initially envisaged.

The enthusiastic football administrator was elected FA boss on October 25, 2019, and has since set the ball rolling to revive a sport that looks to be on life support in the country.

His initial 7 months, he admits have been a bit more challenging than what he first thought of but stresses that he’s not regretted the decision to be the helmsman of the country’s football governing body.

When asked if he’s regretted being in charge Kurt replied Daniel Oduro on GhanaWeb’s Sports Check, “Oh not at all”.

“But I will be the first to admit that from outside the premises of the GFA, from outside the seat; I presumed that there are challenges,”
“But since October 25 and the weeks after that, I have come to appreciate that the difficulties are much more difficult than I thought” he noted.

Despite his admittance that the job looks more difficult, Kurt Okraku has revealed his ambitions remain unchanged. He says he draws some motivation from this to work hard for success.

“But that is where I derive my motivation from. Yes, it is difficult, it is challenging but I am in it. So I need to work extremely hard,” he concluded.
