Talk of one of the most hardworking Members of Parliament in Ghana? Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu in the Volta region would have a place in the top 10.
He’s working hard for the betterment of his constituency and the results thereof are living proof.
The latest project he’s embarking on is the construction of a 15,000 tonnes per year cassava starch processing factory in his constituency.
Yesterday, 22nd April 2021, he shared a photo in a board meeting with the constructors and some stake holders on how the project would be done.
Sharing the photo on Facebook, he wrote:
Our next major project is a 15,000 tonnes per year cassava starch processing factory to be sited in my beloved constituency.
We can expect guaranteed market for our dynamic cassava farmers & thousands of new jobs for the youth.
Construction begins this year. #NorthTonguRising
Well, just this morning 23rd April 2021, he has again shared with his followers photos of the plan for the processing factory.
“How our North Tongu Cassava Starch Processing Factory will look when completed next year. We shall get there together. #NorthTonguRising”, he wrote
This would facilitate the creation of more jobs. And that should mean value would also be added to our cassava – which would maximize its price on the market.
