A 36-year-old man has been robbed and shot dead at Atonsu in Kumasi.
Maxwell Awetor, a resident of Ahinsan Estate, is said to have made an unknown transaction at the Prudential Bank, Atonsu branch.
After his stop at the Bank, he decided to visit a friend at a house which was 100 meters away.
Eyewitnesses said they spotted two men on a motorbike arriving at the house.
One of the suspected robbers spotting a black T-shirt with camouflage shorts followed the deceased. Then a loud gunshot sound was heard.
The suspected assailant jumped on the waiting motorbike with a brown envelope and the two sped off.
Mr. Awetor was found in a pool of blood with a bullet wound on his neck.
