Following a misunderstanding with Shatta Wale that ensued at the awards night in 2019, he was banned alongside the Shatta Movement boss indefinitely.
This led to them getting denied nominations last year 2020.
This year however, the indefinite ban was lifted and both artistes were asked to submit their works for consideration.
But it appears they didn’t.
Hence, when the nominees were announced, we didn’t find the name of Shatta Wale nor Stonebwoy in any of the categories.
Well, the BHIM nation CEO has spoken a few days after the nominees were announced.
In a Snapchat post, he postulated that awards look good, but the truth of the matter is, it is only the work of the musicians that can stabilize their true level and guarantee their comfort.
The father of two further said that musicians are now illuminated to understand this truth, so they cannot be fooled any more.
