Elrad, the son of renowned preacher Prophet Salifu Amoako, is receiving medical treatment as police prepare to arrest him when his health stabilizes.
According to police sources, the heightened security around Elrad ensures that he remains in custody once his condition improves. His involvement in the deadly crash, especially as an unlicensed driver, has raised significant public attention, with many demanding swift justice.
In a broader development, Prophet Salifu Amoako, along with his wife Mouha Amoako and a third person, has been formally charged by the Ghana Police Service. The charges stem from their alleged role in allowing Elrad, who does not possess a driver’s license, to operate the vehicle. The parents are expected to return to court on October 30, 2024, to face these charges.
