‘Brass Against’ lead singer peed on a fan’s face on stage in front of
thousands of people.
Sophia Urista is facing a lot of backlash from disgusted fans who witnessed or
saw the videos of her peeing in a fan’s face on stage in front of her audience
and her shocked bandmates on November 11.
They were performing a cover of Rage Against The Machine’s “Wake Up” at
Welcome to Rockville, when Sophia stopped singing, looked at a man in the
crowd and said:
Get my man with the can on his head ready, ’cause we’re going to bring him
onstage and I’ma piss in this motherf***er’s mouth. I gotta pee, and I can’t
make it to the bathroom, so we might as well make a show out of it.
No one realized how serious she was about it until the fan laid down on stage
and she got on top of him, lowered her pants and underwear close to his face
and started the golden shower:
The backlash was immediate and the morning after the concert the band had to
issue a statement in her name saying:
We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried
away. That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something
you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.
And they also wrote a tweet, which they later deleted, saying:
We’re truly sorry. Not who we are as a band.
UPDATE: She released a statement:
