Three remand prisoners have broken Jail at Agona Swedru Police Station in the Agona West Municipality of the Central Regional.
Sources reveal that the incident occurred at about 11 pm on Sunday when the police officers on duty realized that the three remand prisoners Kwesi Delad 27, Jallo Yussfu, 38, Sumaila Ibrahim 28, and Isaac Marfo 21, who were in custody had escaped
Inspection at the scene indicated that they broke two padlocks to the cells and main gate, then scaled the wall to escape.
The Central Regional Police Command has revealed that efforts are being made to re-arrest them.
