Fix it, fix it, and fix it has been the song of all Ghanaians in the past few months as the economy is dwindling with increasing economic hardships in all respects.
Day in and day out, we hear of robbery attacks on the police, who are supposed to be protecting us, and the citizens. Addition to this has been a video of a gang, who are suspected to be armed robbers wielding guns and giving out warnings to the public, wrongfully found its way to the public domain causing more fear to the populace.
Almost all the security forces are battling with one problem or the other. This morning, Tilapia the cartoonist has outlined some problems with the security forces using his usual cartoon illustration with the heading: “Cartoon: security forces under-equipped, fix it”. In the cartoon, a taxi is seen with a fire extinguisher depicting that the fire service is using the taxi as the fire fighting truck. A van supposed to be used as bread delivery vans are used as bullion vans with no bullet proof vests for the police escort. Cartoon below
Right after this post, people have reacted as to why all these problems are disturbing the country’s security forces but we not prioritized in fixing them. See some reactions below
