Joe PeeFive persons have sustained various degrees of injuries while two others remain in critical condition after they were involved in an accident on the Obuasi-Anhwiankwanta road.
A tipper truck with registration number GR 608-20 and a Hyundai mini bus with number AW 299-11 crashed at Kunka near Obuasi.
All victims are being treated at the Obuasi Government Hospital while one of them, a 17-year-old has been referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The mini bus was headed to Obuasi from Kyekyere while the truck was headed to Kuasi from the opposite direction when the incident occurred around 5:30 pm, Monday.
The crash alerted residents of the area who rushed to the scene to witness.
Confirming the accident to Adom News’ correspondent, Isaac K. Normanyo, the police, said the drivers of the two vehicles have bolted and are being sought for to assist with investigations.
