Diella TekuRenowned skit maker, Mark Angel has disclosed that he is no longer managing the careers of teen comedians Emmanuella and Success. The revelation follows public accusations from Denilson Igwe, a former collaborator, who alleged in an August podcast that Mark Angel exploited him financially during their time working together.
In a TikTok live session, Mark Angel addressed the management shift, stating, “I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success. They are now being managed by a professional agency because I’m too busy to manage them. But I still work with them.”
The decision to transfer management responsibilities to an agency marks a significant transition for the young comedians, both of whom rose to fame through Mark Angel’s skit series. Under his guidance, Emmanuella became a household name with viral videos like This Is Not My Real Face, while Success gained popularity for her witty and humorous roles.
While Angel emphasized his continued collaboration with the duo, the move is seen as a step toward expanding their opportunities under professional management, allowing them to tap into broader platforms and audiences.
Fans are eager to see how Emmanuella and Success will evolve under their new management. Both have established themselves as standout talents in Nigeria’s comedy scene, and this change could mark the beginning of new creative projects and career milestones.
Mark Angel, on the other hand, continues to produce skits and content, focusing on expanding his brand while maintaining ties with the comedians who contributed to his platform’s success.
This development highlights the growing professionalism in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and the need for structured management to support rising stars.
