Budding Ghanaian artist and BamNation signee, S3fa has said that the Ghanaian media only promotes female artists who exposes their body and has so much controversies surrounding them than those who have good vocals.
Using Efyia as an example, she stated that Efyia is a good artist with good voice which a lot of Ghanaians can attest to but its rare to see her in many headlines and blogs as compared to the artists who have so much negative stuff.
She explained her point using the late Ebony Reigns as a case study. She mentioned that Ebony was seen as one of the good artists in Ghana because the media pushed her there and it is all because when she was alive she had so much controversies around her.
Sefa added that the path in which the media is threading clearly shows that female artists who are not ready for controversies wouldn’t have their songs go viral and obviously not everyone can be controversial.
