Former Black Stars striker, Emmanuel Boateng scored to power Dalian Professional FC to victory over Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League relegation playoffs second leg.
Liangmin Lin opened the scoring in the first half after 21 minutes for the away team who lost the first leg 2-0 at home last week.
On the stroke of half time, Boateng scored to put the host 2-0 up and level on aggregate going into the interval.
Twelve minutes to full time, and with extra time looming, the host struck to reduce the deficit to one and go in front on aggregate when Yue Song scored to break the hearts of the visitors when were on course to to avenge their first leg loss at home.
The game finished 2-1 to Boateng’s team but his fellow countryman, Frank Acheampong’s team won the tier 3-2 on aggregate.
