The concerns were publicised by the president of the association, and from his point of view, the drunkards would come according to batches so that all the precautionary measures would be ensured effectively.
He said this in an interview he had with JoyNews when he was asked the measures the members of the association were taking to avoid the spread of the novel corona virus in the various drinking spots, these were the exact words Mr. Moses Drybon said
“In an open place where people can rush in to drink. When you drink to some level we will allow you to go home so that we allow others to also come.
We will give you a card so you will come along with it if you’re in the gold batch you will come in the evening, if you are in the green batch you will come in the morning so that we will be able to observe the social distancing protocols,”.
He pleaded with the government to provide them with some personal protective equipments,
since drinking is not against the laws of the state and they also pay taxes to the state.
