WHO has halted and suspended the testing of anti malaria drug Hydroxychloroquine as trail medicine for the treatment of the deadly corona virus that had hit the whole world .
WHO stated that the drug poses more risk in the life of people with the virus than good making it not suitable for use .
Trials in several countries are being “temporarily” suspended as a precaution.
It comes after a recent medical study suggested the drug could increase the risk of patients dying from Covid-19.
US President Donald Trump has promoted the anti-malarial drug, despite warnings from public health officials that it could cause heart problems in Covid-19 patients.
The president who came out to boldly claim to using the drug and still been alive came out some days ago to say he has stopped taken the drug based on an advice from his physican .
All Test which was done has been halted with immediate effect as the world health organization seeks to find other remedy and drugs that can help in the fight against the virus without putting the safety and health of people into risk .
