Why do Saudis all dress the same?

Saudi Arabia is one of the very few countries where its people still wear their traditional clothes on a daily basis—unlike the suit and the tie that have spread around the world.

Saudis treasure their Arabian roots and traditions and they have kept them over the course of history, despite the fact that Saudis are well-traveled and are integrated with the rest of the world.

Saudi men wear Thawb, a white cloth, with Shemagh, a head covering, on their head that is kept by Iqal, a black double cord (picture above). However, Saudis also wear regular clothes (jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc) when they are not working or not attending a formal social occasion.
