Why is China facing the most severe Covid-19 outbreak in two years even with the zero-Covid policy?

Ultimately It had to happen

You cant fight Nature

The Chinese did superbly , better than any other Nation did :-

• They kept their Economy moving and grew by $ 3 Trillion
• They held an Olympics with minimum casualty with huge influxes

And while they developed the Vaccines and the possible medications – they kept the Zero COVID Policy which resulted in Very Few Deaths,

US lost 9,71,000 People

India lost 5,17,000 People

Europe lost 60,81,000 People

China has lost in 3 years a mere 4628 People

Even assuming the real number is 10 times higher – thats still 47,000 People , roughly 5% of the Number US have lost and 10% of the number India has lost.

Now China are more prepared than any Nation on Earth was for a major outbreak

• They have all Vaccines now – Their own normal Vaccines Modified, M-Rna Vaccines made in Collaboration with Germany, Vaccines for Kids
• They have a Lot of Covid Drugs – making roughly 2.5 Million Pills a day through a Pfizer License and also making 4 Pillion Pills from other Reputed International Brands plus their own Covid drugs
• Their Healthcare is ready for a massive outbreak – They have an average of 4.3 Specialization Centers per City with Shanghai alone having 81 Centers exclusively for COVID 19. They have Surplus of Test Kits, Nucleic Acid Test Kits and everything else that you need

And they are still managing the Problem effectively

Shenzhen Production was stopped for exactly 24 Shifts over 6 Days.

Production has resumed under Close Loops

In India – Production halted in many places for as many as 8 Months !!!

IN US – It averaged between 4.3 to 5.4 Months!!!

So i would say – China was the Country that got everything right in the end.

They kept the harsh Zero Covid Policy until they got everything ready and finally they couldnt keep out the infectious Omicron any longer.

Luckily as on date only 3.7% are hospitalized due to any Severity and fatality is only 0.46%

So why are the Chinese still keeping the Zero Covid Policy and not allowing Herd Immunity???

My Guess is – They know something worse is out there , some worse Mutation that could kill far more rampantly

Thats why they are still harshly following the Zero Covid Policy
