Joe PeeIt is getting closer to elections that most politicians turn back to the Zongo’s, not for the sake of developing there but the exploitation of macho men for violence.
On Friday, during the Eid Adha celebration, Alhaji Sariki Yussif Tahiru, the Zongo chief for Ashalaja in Ga- South municipality Accra, has sent a cautious message to the youth of the Zongo Community’s especially the macho men to stay away from political violence as the whole nation prepares herself for general election and the ongoing voter registration exercise which has turned into grounds of chaos and confusion at some polling stations.
He added that it’s time they end the snatching of ballot boxes during elections, their lives are worth more than the chicken change they’re paid. They must always remember that since the country is being run by a multi party democracy system, one party won’t likely be in power forever, by all means the table can turn anytime.
There are more important things they could do with their lives than going to the gym to lifts weights all for someone to come and hire them to do evil acts.
